Amalco

You can find Amalco on the third floor of the Shivalik building in Panchwati. Being up on the third floor means we get a bit of exercise every day, though the lift works most of the time. Panchwati is a lively area and there’s always something going on outside our windows. We’ve been here for a good stretch of time and the office has definitely started to show its age in a comfortable sort of way. The floorboards creak a little in certain spots, and the paint is peeling slightly in the corner of the breakroom. It doesn't bother us much because we're too busy with our daily tasks. We have a few big desks pushed together to make it easier to talk to each other while we work. It’s not the most modern setup you’ve ever seen, but it’s practical. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’d rather just have good equipment to work with. There’s a small balcony where we sometimes take a break to get some fresh air. It’s nice to step away from the screens for a minute or two. At Amalco, we just try to keep things running smoothly. We’ve had some long days here, but we also have some good laughs when things aren't too stressful. It’s just a group of people doing their best in a space that feels like our own, and we've managed to make it work for us through all the ups and downs of the years.
