A.K Placements & Service Pvt Ltd is up on the eighth floor of Elegance Tower. We’re in room 803, right near C.N. Vidyalay on S.M. Road in Ambawadi, Ahmedabad. Being up high gives us a decent view of the city, though we’re usually too busy to look out the window. We help people find jobs and handle various services. It’s a simple operation with a handful of staff. We aren't interested in being some polished corporate entity. We talk to people plainly and don't make promises we can't keep. Ambawadi is a busy area, so there’s always people coming and going. The elevator in the building can be a bit slow during lunch hours, but we’ve learned to be patient. We keep the office tidy, but it definitely looks like a place where real work happens. There are stacks of resumes and files everywhere. We don't have any marketing gurus telling us what to say. We just answer the phone and talk to whoever is on the other end. It’s been a good few years since we started here. We’ve had our ups and downs, like any other small business. We don't have a fancy mission statement. We just want to help people find work and keep the lights on. It’s practical and it works for us and the folks we help. We are just glad to be working here on S.M. Road.
