Aiesec

Aiesec is located over at Mohan Villa in the Samasta Brahmakshatriya Society. That name is quite long, so we usually just tell people we are near the Anjali Cinema Cross Roads in Paldi. It is a nice area of Ahmedabad, fairly central so it is easy to find. The office is actually in a villa, so it feels more like a home than a workplace most of the time. We have people coming in and out constantly. Usually, it is students or young people looking for something to do abroad or just wanting to help out with projects. There is always someone sitting on the porch or talking in the main room. It can get a bit disorganized when we have a lot of visitors, but we manage to stay on top of things. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we try not to be too loud, though sometimes the meetings get a bit lively. We have been at this address for a good bit now. It is nice being in Bhattha because there are decent places to grab a quick snack nearby. We don’t have a big corporate sign or anything, just the name on the gate. If you get to the cinema crossroads, you are basically there. Just turn into the society and look for number 87. It is a simple setup, really. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks and try to stay productive. There is no point in making things more complicated than they need to be.
