Adarash Vidhya Pith Primary School

We are based in the Jagatpur area, specifically within the Godrej Garden City vicinity. It’s a newer part of Ahmedabad compared to some of the old city spots, so the surroundings are a bit more planned out. Our primary school has a decent amount of space for the younger kids. We spend most of our mornings getting the classrooms ready before the buses and cars start arriving. It’s a lot of little kids with big bags, which is always a sight to see. The building is fairly modern because of the area we’re in, but we still keep things simple inside. We don't go for overcomplicating the school day. There are some play areas and the usual classrooms where the kids learn their basics. The staff here are mostly local people who understand the neighborhood. We get a lot of families who have just moved to Jagatpur, so we’re often explaining how the school day works. It can get a little hectic during the monsoon season when the rain starts coming down hard, but we manage. We just focus on the daily tasks of teaching and looking after the students. It’s a steady environment for the kids to grow up in. No big speeches or fancy promises, just a school doing its job every day in a growing part of town. The bells ring on time and we make sure everyone gets to their classes without too much trouble.
