Down at the Bhaichand Mehta Industrial Estate, things are usually pretty loud and dusty. We are located at Plot No. 56, which is tucked away behind Krishna Park on Gondal Road. It is in the Vavdi area of Rajkot, which is known for this kind of heavy industrial work. We do casting here, so there is always the sound of machinery and the smell of hot metal in the air. It is hard work, but it is what we know how to do. The industrial estate is a bit of a maze if you are not used to it, especially with all the different survey numbers and plots scattered around. Our spot is right near Survey No. 38/1. We spend most of our days on the floor making sure the molds are right and the pours are going according to plan. It is not the kind of place where you wear a suit and tie. We are usually covered in grease or sand by lunch time. Gondal Road is always packed with trucks and traffic, which makes getting materials in and out a bit of a challenge sometimes. We have been here for a good bit and have seen the area grow quite a lot over the years. Even though it is just a casting plant, there is a sense of pride in seeing something finished and ready to ship out. We do not have a marketing team, just some local guys who understand how to work with metal.
