Abhyuday Nursery School

You can find us at number 1, Aastha Bunglows. We are also in the Nava Naroda area, specifically off the Nikol Naroda Road. Since we are a nursery school, the place is full of very small children almost every morning. It’s actually just a bungalow that we use for the classes. It makes it feel a bit more like a home than a big institution. There are toys scattered around the floor most of the time and the walls are covered in colorful drawings the kids made. The children are only here for a few hours. When they arrive, there is a lot of crying sometimes, but then they settle down and start playing with blocks or singing. We have a small porch where parents wait when it is time to pick them up. It’s quite a noisy place, as you can imagine with twenty or thirty toddlers running about. We don’t have any big marketing plans or fancy websites. Most people find out about us because they live in the same society or the next block over. It’s a simple setup. We have a couple of helpers who keep the place clean and a few teachers who handle the lessons and the playtime. It’s mostly about learning how to sit still and share things with others. The afternoon is quiet once everyone goes home for lunch. Then we just tidy up and get ready for the next day.
