Abc Montessori Preschool

This preschool is located at 13 Guru Mandir Society in the Chandlodiya neighborhood of Ahmedabad. It’s right in the middle of a residential society, so it feels very much like part of the neighborhood. The building is a house that we’ve set up for the kids, which makes the transition from home a bit easier for them. We use the Montessori way of doing things, so the rooms are full of wooden trays, beads, and practical life activities. The children spend a lot of time on the floor working on their own little projects. It isn’t a very big place, so it stays quite intimate and we know every child’s name and their parents too. The morning routine starts with everyone coming in and taking off their shoes at the door. There is a small outdoor space where they can get some sun and fresh air for a bit. The teachers are busy helping kids zip up their jackets or open their lunch boxes. It’s a simple, honest setup without any of the flashy stuff you see in big city chains. We have been here long enough that some of our early students are now quite grown up. The walls are covered in the kids' drawings and some charts. It’s just a normal, everyday preschool where we try to keep things calm and productive for the little ones who are just starting out.
