Aavishkar International School

Our school is located just off the SP Ring Road, about ten minutes away from Science City. If you go ahead past the Ganaj Circle, you will find us. It is an area that is seeing more and more buildings pop up lately. We have a fair amount of land here, which allows for a spread-out campus. The wind can get a bit strong out on the ring road, but inside the walls, it is mostly quiet. We have the usual setup of classrooms, labs, and a bit of space for sports. The daily grind involves a lot of coordinating buses and making sure the lunch service is on time. We don't have a polished corporate image. Our staff rooms are usually a bit cluttered with books, and the notice boards are covered in handwritten notes and schedules. We try to keep the facilities in working order, though things like the AC units or the playground equipment always seem to need some kind of maintenance. It is just a normal school where people work hard. We focus on the curriculum and making sure the students are prepared for their tests. There isn't much fluff here. We just show up, do the work, and make sure the kids are actually learning something. It is a practical environment for families living in this part of Ahmedabad. We take things as they come and keep the school moving forward. The days are long but we get the job done.
