Aarti Steel

Aarti Steel is located inside the Anand Cloth Market at office 425 A. Being in Sarangpur means it is always a bit of a crowd, but we like the energy of the market. You have to enter near the Sarangpur Gate to find us easily. The building is usually full of people carrying bundles of fabric, and then there is us dealing with steel. It is an interesting mix. Our office isn't huge, but it is enough for the two of us to manage the accounts and the orders that come through. We keep a lot of our records in big binders because that is just how we have always done it. Sometimes the lift in the building does not work, so walking up to the fourth floor keeps us moving. The tea man comes around twice a day, which is something we always look forward to. There is a lot of noise from the street sellers down below, but you stop noticing it after an hour or so. We mostly deal with regular clients who have been coming to this market for years. It is a lot of talking on the phone and writing things down in the ledger. We do not really do much advertising or anything. People just know where we are because we have stayed in this same spot for so long. It is just a practical place to work and get things done without any unnecessary fuss or bother.
