A Kantilal & Co.

A Kantilal & Co. is located at No. 19 in the Rudra Complex over in the Ambawadi Bazar area. Being near the Central Bank of India makes it easy for people to find us when they are out doing their errands. The shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot into it. There is always something going on in the bazaar, so it’s never really quiet outside. We’ve been operating out of Ellis Bridge for some time now and seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Inside the shop, things can get a little cluttered because we have so many items to handle, but we know where everything is. You might see one of us moving boxes or checking some paperwork at the small desk near the front. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website. Most people just know us from being in the complex for so long. We open up early most days to get a head start before the heat sets in. It’s a lot of work, but it keeps us busy. We just try to be helpful to whoever walks through the door. Sometimes we have a tea together when things slow down in the afternoon. It’s just a normal workplace with people who have been doing this for years. We like being part of the local market scene here and seeing the same faces every week. It feels like home after all these years of being in the same spot and working in the bazar.
