A K Steels

We run A K Steels over at Shop No -70/2 in the Gayatri Chamber. It's right on Keval Kanta Road in Rakhial, just opposite the Anil Estate. If you know the area even a little bit, it's pretty easy to find us. We deal with steel, as you can probably guess from the name on the sign outside. It’s a dusty, heavy kind of business to be in. We spend our days moving metal around and talking to contractors or guys who need supplies for a local building project. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside or the inside. It's just a place where we store our stock and handle the daily orders that come in. It can be quite loud when the trucks are loading up the heavy beams, but that’s just part of the job in Rakhial. We’ve been in Gayatri Chamber for a while now, and we've gotten used to the noise and the dust. We don't have a big corporate team or any marketing people. It's just us here, making sure the measurements are right and the customer gets exactly what they asked for. Sometimes we are short on a certain type of steel, and we have to wait for the next delivery to arrive from the suppliers. It’s just hard, practical work every day. We don't spend much time on computers or fancy things. We just focus on the steel and getting it out.
