We’ve been here at Krishna Complex on the first floor for a while now. It gets quite busy on Ashram Road during the mornings when parents drop their kids off. Our rooms are just standard classrooms where the younger ones spend their day learning the basics. It's not a huge place, being inside a complex and all, but we make it work for the primary students. You'll usually see teachers carrying stacks of notebooks or kids lining up in the hallway. We deal with the usual school stuff, like keeping the registers updated and making sure the water cooler is filled. Sometimes the noise from the street carries up, but the children are used to it. We just focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the kids know their numbers and letters before the bell rings. It's a simple setup. Most people around here know where we are because of the landmark. We try to keep things organized, though it gets a bit chaotic during lunch breaks. The stairs can be a bit of a climb for the little ones, but they manage just fine. We don't have a big playground, so we use the space we have as well as we can. It’s just a regular local school trying to help the neighborhood kids get an education without too much fuss. We're open early and close once the last student is picked up by their family.
