1St Step School

1St Step School is located right by the Radhe Krishna Temple in the Shahibaug area of Ahmedabad. We use the Ghasiram Hall for our school activities. It’s a well-known spot in the 380004 neighborhood, so most folks don’t have trouble finding us. The building is older, but it serves the purpose for the little ones who are just starting out. We have a few rooms where the children spend their day. It’s not a massive campus with a big track or anything like that. We just have the hall and the space around it. Being near the temple means there is often some activity or music nearby, which adds to the feel of the place. We keep things simple here. The focus is just on getting the kids used to being in a classroom and learning their first few lessons. We don't have any high-end stuff, just the standard chairs and small tables. The walls have some drawings on them from the students. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when all the kids are talking at once, but that is expected. We have been around for a bit and the local parents seem to know us well. It’s a convenient location for anyone living on this side of Shahibaug. We just open the doors every morning and get to work with the children. It is a basic, honest little school that has been part of this community for quite a while now. We just do our daily work.
