Shikha Tour Travels

Shikha Tour Travels is over on Dargah Road in the Wazir Pura area, specifically at number 24/87. It’s a small office that stays pretty active because of all the people coming in and out to ask about bus schedules or car rentals. We have maps pinned to the walls and a few old desks where we sit to handle the bookings. The phones ring quite a bit, mostly people checking if their taxi will be on time or asking how much it costs to get to the next town. We don't have any high-tech systems; we mostly use a big ledger and some basic computers to keep track of everything. It can get a bit chaotic when several people show up at once wanting to book trips for the holidays, but we do our best to get everyone sorted. There’s a tea stall just down the road, and we usually have a few cups brought over during the day to keep us going. The location near the Dargah means there’s always something happening outside, so it’s never really quiet. We’ve been running this travel desk for years and have seen a lot of people head off on their journeys from here. It’s just a plain, honest business helping people get where they need to go without any fancy frills or complicated procedures. We just focus on the schedules and the roads.
