Waseed Mens Hair Saloon

Waseed Mens Hair Saloon is located over on Shahganj Road in the Bodla area. It's been around for some time now. I decided to open here because it's a busy part of Agra. The shop isn't hard to find. We have the usual setup. Some chairs, some scissors, and a radio that’s usually playing something quiet in the background. My neighbors run the shops next door, and we often share tea in the afternoons. I handle the haircuts myself. Most of the men around Bodla come here because they know what to expect. I don’t go for those trendy styles you see in magazines unless someone really asks for it. I prefer the standard cuts. It’s a small space, so if there are three people waiting, it feels full. I try to keep the mirrors clear of dust, but with the road outside, it’s a constant job. The floor gets swept after every person. I don’t put up fancy posters. Just a calendar on the wall. Life moves pretty fast on Shahganj Road, so I try to work efficiently so nobody is waiting too long. Sometimes my brother helps out when he isn't busy. It’s a decent place to work. I’ve met a lot of interesting people sitting in those chairs. We talk about family and work. It’s just a normal barber shop for normal people. I like the routine of the daily grind. It keeps me busy and pays the bills.
