Vvup School

Vvup School sits inside Pushpanjali Colony, which is in the Sewala Saria area off Gwalior Road in Agra. It is a residential neighborhood, so it feels a bit more tucked away than the schools right on the highway. You have to wind through a few streets to get to us. The school is a pretty standard building for this part of town. We have a gate and a small courtyard where the kids gather before the day begins. It can get quite loud around eight in the morning when the buses arrive and the parents are dropping their children off. After that, it settles down into the routine of the school day. The classrooms are filled with the usual wooden desks and chairs, and we have the boards at the front for the teachers to write on. It's not a place with a lot of extra bells and whistles. We just focus on the teaching part. Sometimes the water cooler in the hallway makes a weird noise, but nobody really minds it much. On the weekends, the place is completely silent, which is a big change from the weekday energy. The local shops nearby are where we usually grab a quick snack or some tea during the breaks. It’s a very local feel here. Everyone in Pushpanjali Colony knows the school and the people who work here. We just go about our business every day and try to keep things running smoothly for the students.
