Shri Gyasiram High School

This high school is tucked away in Dayal Nagar, over in the Dhanoli part of Agra. It has been sitting here for years. Most people in the neighborhood know the building. It is a solid structure, nothing too fancy. We handle the older kids mostly, since it is a high school. They come in with their heavy bags and sit through the long lessons. We have different rooms for the different subjects. The teachers have their own way of doing things. Sometimes there is a lot of shouting during the sports periods, but that is normal. We are right in the middle of a residential area, so it feels like a community school. There are houses all around us. We don't have a huge staff, just a group of people who show up every day to do their jobs. We deal with the exams and the grading just like any other place. The benches are a bit old, and the walls could use some fresh paint, but the atmosphere is alright. Agra gets busy with tourists, but back here in Dhanoli, it is just the usual local life. We open early and stay until the afternoon. The kids walk home in groups. It is a very standard routine. We don't try to be anything we aren't. Just a school for the local families to use. We just keep our heads down and focus on the daily classes. It works for us.
