Our school, I C Vidhya Sagar H S S, is located in the village and post of Malpura. It’s right near the Malpura Thana, so we are easy to spot if you are in that part of Agra. The area around 282001 is quite traditional, and we’ve been a part of this landscape for a long time. I remember when there were fewer houses around here, but now it has filled in quite a bit. The building is a simple structure with a central courtyard where everyone gathers. It isn't a polished place with air conditioning or anything like that. We just have ceiling fans that rattle a bit when they are on full speed. In the afternoons, you can hear the sounds from the village coming through the open windows. Managing the school involves a lot of small tasks, like fixing a broken window latch or clearing the weeds from the playground area. We don't have a marketing department or anything fancy. People in Malpura just know us by word of mouth. We focus on the basics and try to make sure the students have a place to sit and learn every day. It’s a steady, quiet kind of life working here. We don't have big slogans, just the daily work of running a school in a small village. Most of our staff have been here for their entire careers.
