We’ve been here in Vikas Nagar near the Sabzi Mandi for quite some time now. People usually find us easily because of the vegetable market being so close. It is a busy spot in Tedi Bagia. We do regular beauty work for the ladies in the neighborhood, and we also teach people how to do hair and makeup. Some girls come here to learn because they want to start their own small shops later on. It gets crowded on weekends, especially when there are weddings in the area. My staff and I just try to keep things moving. We use standard products you find in most shops. The chairs aren't the newest ones, but they work fine for what we need. We talk to our customers about their families while we work on their hair or threading. It’s just a normal place where people come to get ready for their day. Sometimes the power goes out, but we have a backup generator that usually works. We aren't trying to be fancy or high-end. It is just a local parlor where you can get your eyebrows done or learn a new skill if you have the time. Agra has a lot of shops like ours, but we are right here near the market so it is convenient for people doing their daily shopping. We open early most days and stay until the last customer is done. It is hard work but we are used to it by now.
