The Fashion Cut Hair Spa Skin Care is located at Ajeet Nagar Kheriya Mode. The name sounds a bit long but everyone around here just knows us as the shop at the crossing. Being in this part of Agra means there is always something going on outside the door. Traffic from the Kheriya side is constant and the noise is just part of the day. I have been working here for a while now. We do more than just hair cuts because people started asking for skin stuff and head massages too. The shop is a bit bigger than some of the others in the area. I have a couple of guys who work with me because it gets too much for one person, especially on Saturdays and Sundays when everyone wants to look their best for a wedding or a party. We have a few different chairs and some better lighting than the old-style shops. Still, it is a local place at heart. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that. You just walk in and wait your turn on the plastic chairs. The floor is tiled and I try to keep it mopped because the mud from the street comes in on everyone's shoes. We use a lot of spray bottles and combs throughout the day. It is hard work being on your feet for ten hours but it keeps the kitchen running at home. We just do our job and hope the electricity stays on.
