We've been here on Mau Road for a while now. You'll see us if you're coming down the bye pass road in Khandari. It’s just a regular place, nothing too fancy, honestly. Agra gets busy, and we just try to keep things moving for the people who stop in. My brother and I started this because we needed something to do, and food seemed like the right choice back then. We spend most of our mornings getting the kitchen ready. It’s a lot of work, mostly cleaning and chopping vegetables, but that’s just how it is. Sometimes the traffic outside is loud, but inside we just focus on the orders. People from around the neighborhood come by quite a bit. They know us by name mostly. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just the one out front. It’s been a bit of a learning curve figuring out how to run a kitchen day in and day out. Some days are slow, others we can barely keep up with the crowd. We try to keep the tables clean and the food hot. That's really all there is to it. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. Just serving what we know how to make. If you are near Khandari and need a bite, we are usually around. We like seeing the regular faces every day. It makes the long hours feel a bit shorter when you can have a quick chat with someone you know from the street.
