Sun International

We are based at 32/66, Kana Patel Khatipara in the Lohamandi area. It’s an old part of the city, and the streets are narrow and winding, which makes it tough for bigger vehicles to get through. Sun International is a name that might sound big, but here on the ground, it’s just us working in a fairly traditional setting. The neighborhood is known for its metalwork and crafts, so there’s always the sound of hammers or grinding coming from somewhere nearby. Our space is filled with the smell of raw materials and old wood from the storage racks. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't from around here, but the locals know us well enough. We have a small office area where we keep the ledger books and take phone calls, but most of the action happens in the back room. There’s a lot of lifting and moving things around, so we stay pretty active throughout the day. On hot days, the stone floors stay a bit cooler, which is a big relief when the fans aren't enough. We don’t really have a marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us and a couple of helpers making sure the orders are ready on time. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change, but the way we do things hasn't changed much. We just stick to what we know and keep the business running one day at a time.
