Prelude Public School is over at 341, Dayal Bagh in Agra. Most people around here know the Dayal Bagh area well, and we are just another part of the community. It’s a decent-sized building with several floors of classrooms. In the mornings, the street gets a bit crowded with rickshaws and cars bringing the students in. We try to keep things organized, but schools are naturally a bit chaotic with so many children in one place. Our classrooms are simple, with the usual benches and chalkboards. The teachers here have their hands full, especially with the younger grades who can’t seem to sit still for more than ten minutes. We follow the standard board syllabus and don't really stray too far from it. There’s a small area for assembly and games, though it’s never quite big enough for everyone at once. We’ve had many students pass through these doors over the years, and some of them even come back to visit as adults. It’s just a normal, everyday school. We don't have any big corporate backing or anything like that; it’s just us doing our work. The dust from the Agra roads is a constant battle, but we keep the place as clean as we can. It’s a place of learning, sure, but it’s also just where kids spend their day while their parents are at work.
