Shrangar Beauty Parlour

Shrangar Beauty Parlour is situated at B - 159 Trans Yamuna Colony, right off the Firozabad Road in Agra. This part of the city is always moving, with all the traffic heading towards the highway. Our parlour is tucked into the colony, so it feels a bit more private than the shops right on the main road. It’s not a huge place, just a few rooms where we do our work. I’ve been running this for some time now. Most of our clients are women from the surrounding houses who just want their regular threading or a quick facial. We don't have those expensive machines you see on TV, just the basic tools and some good quality creams. I usually spend my time between customers cleaning the brushes or organizing the shelves. It’s an honest way to make a living. Agra can be very hot, so the AC is usually running if the power stays on. I like the routine of it. We talk about the local news and who is getting married next while I’m working. The decor is nothing special, just some posters on the walls and some comfortable chairs. It’s a practical space for practical people. We don't try to be something we aren't. If you’re in Trans Yamuna Colony and need a bit of grooming, this is where we are. It’s just us doing our daily work in a corner of Agra.
