Shivam Hair Saloon

Shivam Hair Saloon is at Sh No- 3 on Rajmandi Station Road, near Delhi Gate in Agra. You probably know how crowded that road stays with everyone rushing to the station. We keep the shop open from early morning until late at night. The space isn't huge but it fits our three chairs. Sundays are the days when the place is really packed. Because the floor is tile, it’s easy for us to sweep up the hair after a customer leaves. We’ve got some old posters on the walls and a radio that plays local songs most of the day. The traffic noise outside gets so loud that we have to talk louder just to hear what a customer wants. It’s a very basic setup with mirrors and cabinets for our towels and spray bottles. Nothing fancy happens here. Most men come in for a quick trim or a shave before they head to work or catch their train. Being this close to the station means we see a lot of different people. Some regulars have been coming here for years and we don't even have to ask how they want their hair cut. We keep the scissors sharp and try to have warm water ready. The ceiling fan stays on high during the hot afternoons. It is just a normal hair saloon in a very busy part of the city. We do our work and go home when the sun sets.
