Shivam Hair Salons

Shivam Hair Salons is located in Agra, specifically at Kheriya Mode in Ajeet Nagar. It’s a local spot that I’ve been running for some time now. Agra is a big city, but here in Ajeet Nagar, everyone kind of knows each other. My shop is right on the corner where people gather. It’s not a very big space, but it’s enough for what we do. I have a few mirrors on the wall and some chairs that I bought second-hand when I first started. They aren't the fanciest, but they hold up well. I spend most of my day standing on the concrete floor, cutting hair and listening to the traffic outside at Kheriya Mode. It gets pretty loud with all the rickshaws and bikes, but you get used to the noise after a few weeks. Most of my customers are just regular guys from the neighborhood. They come in for a trim or a quick shave. I don't have a sign that lights up or anything like that. Just a simple board outside with the name. Sometimes the kids from the street come in to hang out when it's raining. I don't mind as long as they don't trip over the wires. I keep my tools in a wooden box under the counter. It’s just a basic business for the community here. If you’re in Ajeet Nagar and need a haircut, you’ll see us there. I usually stay open until about eight in the evening before heading back home.
