You can find us on Fatehabad Road in Agra, not too far from the Saga Emporium. This part of town always has people moving around, especially tourists and locals going to work. Our shop is a simple one. We have a couple of chairs and big mirrors that we try to keep clean every morning with a bit of newspaper and water. It is nothing like those big parlors you see in the malls. We just provide a place where you can sit down, get a haircut, and maybe a head massage if you have the time and feel tired. The water tap sometimes drips into the sink, but we keep a bucket under it. It’s just me and one other guy working most of the time. We know the people from the nearby shops quite well. Sometimes they come in just to sit and talk for a bit while they wait for their own customers. We don't use any fancy chemicals or strange smelling products on people's hair. Just the usual stuff you find in any local barber shop. The lighting is okay, though we prefer the natural light from the front door when it's sunny. On holidays, it gets really packed, and the wait can be long. We just tell people to come back in an hour or sit on the bench outside if they aren't in a hurry. It’s a honest way to make a living for us.
