Santosh Beauty Parlour

I run Santosh Beauty Parlour out of Shop No 3 B in the Jai Ma Durge Market. We are located in Yamuna Colony here in Agra. It is a local market, so it gets quite lively in the evenings when everyone is out doing their shopping. The shop isn't very large, but we have enough space for the chairs and the mirrors we need. People from around the colony come by for all sorts of things. We have been in this spot for a bit, so the neighbors know us well. Working in Agra is nice because of the history, but our day-to-day is just regular work in the market. I try to keep the place tidy and welcoming for anyone who walks in. It’s mostly just us doing our thing and helping people feel a bit better before they go home. Sometimes the market gets noisy, but inside the shop, we try to keep it steady. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just me and the staff. We use the tools we have and listen to what the customers want.
