Saga Hair Saloon

Saga Hair Saloon is over here in Taj Ganj, specifically at 135, Taj Nagari. Being in Agra, we get all sorts of people coming through. The shop isn't anything too crazy, just a regular place where men come to get their hair cut and maybe a shave. I’ve been around here long enough to see how the neighborhood has changed, but the saloon stays pretty much the same. We have our chairs and our mirrors and the tools we need. It’s a practical setup. Most of our customers live right here in Taj Nagari, so we know their names and how they like their hair. We aren't trying to be one of those high-end places you see in magazines. We just focus on the work at hand. Some mornings are quiet, giving us time to sweep up and organize the shelves. Other times, every chair is full and there's a bit of a wait. It is just me and the other guys working through the day. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just open the doors and wait for the regulars.
