Our office is in Village Roopdhanu, which is in the Etmadpur Tehsil of Agra district. We are based at house number 68. This is a very rural area, and that is exactly why we are here. We are a farmer producer company, which means we are run by the people who actually work the land around Roopdhanu. We started this because we wanted a way to buy our fertilizers and seeds together to save some money. Our office is just a small room in the village. It’s where we store some of the equipment and keep our meeting minutes. People stop by all the time, not just for business, but to have a bit of a chat about the season. We don't have any professional managers from the city. We do everything ourselves, from the bookkeeping to the heavy lifting. It’s hard work, and we make mistakes sometimes, but we are learning as we go. The village life is quiet, but when harvest time comes, everyone is busy from sunrise to sunset. We try to make sure that none of our members are getting a bad price for their hard work. It's not about making a huge profit or being famous. It's about making sure everyone in the village can keep their farms going for another year. We are just local folks trying to help each other out in a way that makes sense for our families and our neighbors.
