S Narayana Gowda

S Narayana Gowda is based out of the Suryakiran Building in Agra. We are in unit B-8, which is over in Block-35 of the Sanjay Palace district. If you’ve ever been to this part of the city, you know how hectic it gets. There are bikes and rickshaws everywhere you look. Our office is a quiet spot compared to the mess outside. We’ve been sitting in this same building for a good while, watching the city grow around us. The walls are lined with shelves and there’s always a stack of papers waiting for someone’s attention. We don't have a big reception desk or anyone in a suit greeting you at the door. It’s just us doing the work we’ve always done. Some days are slower than others, which gives us a chance to clean up the desks. Other days, we’re so busy we barely have time to look out the window at the sky. Sanjay Palace has a rhythm to it that you eventually get used to. We keep a small kettle for making tea during the late afternoons when the energy starts to dip. It’s a plain office in a plain building, and that suits us just fine. We just try to stay on top of things and keep our heads down while the busy world goes by. Agra is a tough place to work in the summer, but we keep going anyway.
