A.R. Lakshmisha

My name is on the board outside, A.R. Lakshmisha, and we are right here at 32 in Kailash Nagar. Agra can get pretty busy, especially this part of town, but we’ve been at this spot for a long time now. People usually find us just by walking down the street or asking the neighbors where the office is. It’s not a big fancy place, just a few rooms where we get things done every day. I usually get here early before the heat starts to pick up. The address says Agra 282001, so we are pretty central to everything. There is a lot of noise from the traffic sometimes, but you get used to it after a while. I remember when I first moved into this building, the walls needed a lot of work. Now it feels like home. We don’t have a big team or anything, just enough people to keep things moving. Sometimes the chai wala comes by twice a day, and that’s when we take a small break. It’s a simple way of working. Most of our days are spent sitting at the desks, looking over papers or talking to people who drop in. There’s no big secret to how we operate. We just show up, do what needs to be done, and then head home when the sun goes down. Kailash Nagar has changed over the years, more shops now, but our door stays the same.
