Rinky Beauty Parlour

Rinky Beauty Parlour is tucked away in the Cod Colony area of Shah Ganj here in Agra. We are easy to find because the shop is quite close to the local police chowki. The address is 19/202/A, and it is a place where women from the neighborhood come when they have a bit of free time. It is not a huge establishment, just a few chairs and some mirrors. We do a lot of threading and basic hair work every day. When the wedding season starts, the shop gets a bit cramped with everyone wanting things done at the same time. It is a lot of noise and talking then. We have been here in Shah Ganj for a good while now, so we know most of the families who live around this part of the city. Sometimes people just stop by to say hello while they are out doing their grocery shopping. The tea stall nearby brings us cups throughout the day to keep us going. We do not have any big signs or fancy decorations out front. It is just a practical space for women to get ready for their day. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we keep the tools clean and the service steady. Agra gets very busy, and our little corner in Cod Colony is no different. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
