Rahamani Beauty Parlour

Our shop is located on Sikandra Road in the Bodla area of Agra. It is a busy part of town and we have been tucked away in this spot for a long time. We mainly handle beauty stuff for the women who live in the neighborhood. It is a small space, nothing like those big salons you see in the middle of the city. We just have the essential things we need to get through the work day. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we keep it clean enough inside. Most of our customers are women who live within walking distance of the shop. They come by for threading or maybe to get their hair done if there is a local wedding. We do not have any fancy signs out front, just the name so people know it is us. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the front of the building. We have a small fan that keeps the air moving a little bit. It is mostly just one or two of us working here at a time. We really like the quiet mornings before the afternoon rush starts. People around here know us well, so there is always a lot of talking and catching up while we work. We do not use any expensive gadgets, just our hands and regular tools. It is an honest way to make a living. We stay open until the street lights come on in the evening.
