Rahamaan Beauty Parlou

Agra is a place with a lot of history, but out here in Bodla on Sikandra Road, it’s mostly just houses and small shops. Rahamaan Beauty Parlou is one of those places you might miss if you are driving too fast. We are right there in the middle of things, dealing with the dust and the heat like everyone else in this part of town. The parlour is a simple space. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle hair and basic beauty stuff. People from the nearby colonies stop by after they finish their grocery shopping or when they have some free time in the afternoon. It is not a place where you come for luxury, but it is a place where you can get your work done properly. We use the same products we have used for years because we know they work. The chairs are comfortable enough, and we usually have the news playing on a small TV. Sometimes the street gets blocked by a wedding procession, and we all go outside to watch for a minute before going back to work. It’s a very local vibe here. We know most of our customers by their first names and we know what they like. It’s just how we run things on Sikandra Road, keeping it plain and honest. We keep the mirrors clean and the floor swept. It is just daily life for us.
