Our office is spread out across the 5th and 6th floors, along with G-10/8, in the Padamdeep Tower at Sanjay Palace. That is a pretty big name for a place where we mostly just focus on soap and basic chemicals. Working in Sanjay Palace means we are right in the middle of a lot of local action every day. The elevators in this building can be a bit slow in the morning hours, so we often end up chatting with people from the other offices while we wait for a ride up. At Pee Cee, we have got a lot of history inside these walls. There are old blue folders in the back cabinets that have been there since long before I even started working here. We handle a lot of the administrative paperwork and phone calls here while the actual production work happens at another site. It is a mix of sitting at desks and moving heavy boxes around when new samples arrive from the factory. Sometimes the whole office gets a bit cluttered with small soap samples, which actually makes the entire floor smell quite pleasant for a change. We are definitely not a high-tech company with fancy furniture or free snacks. We have regular wooden desks, some old chairs, and a metal kettle that gets used way too many times a day. The staff here feels like a family. We just focus on our daily tasks and getting orders right.
