Manimaran And Sons

Our office is on the first floor of Wavoo Mansion, which is right there on Rajaji Salai. It’s an old building, the kind that has a bit of character and maybe some creaky parts. Being on Rajaji Salai means we’re right in the middle of all the city noise and the sea air. Manimaran and Sons has been a family thing for a long time. We aren’t a huge team. Usually, it’s just a few of us handling the paperwork and talking to people who come up the stairs. The stairs can be a bit steep if you aren’t used to them. Inside, it’s mostly desks piled with files and the hum of an old ceiling fan. We don't have any of those modern open-plan layouts you see in the new parts of town. It’s just rooms that have served us well for years. We do our business in a straightforward way. People know where to find us. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud you have to raise your voice, but that’s just part of being in this area. We take our breaks when we can, and there’s always someone going down to get coffee for the group. It feels like home because we’ve spent so much time here. We don't go for fancy decorations or big signs. The name on the door is enough for people to know who we are. We've seen a lot of changes on this street over the decades, but we just keep doing what we do every day without much fuss or bother.
