Patel Alloy Steel P Ltd is located at L 25 299 Balkrishnananagr. We are right opposite Krishnanagar in the Saijpur area of Ahmedabad. It is an industrial part of the city, which makes sense for what we do. We work with steel and alloys, so things can get a bit noisy and dirty around here. The office is attached to the main work area, so you can always hear the sound of machines in the background. It isn't a place for quiet meetings. We mostly wear work clothes and boots because of all the metal around. We've been in Ahmedabad for many years now. The business started small and has stayed at a manageable size. We don't have any fancy boardrooms or leather chairs. It’s just metal desks and stacks of order forms. Most of our day is spent checking stock and talking to suppliers. Sometimes the shipments are late, which can be frustrating, but we just deal with it as it comes. We have a small crew of workers who have been with us for a long time. We know their families and they know ours. It is more like a small community than a cold company. We don't spend time on marketing or making things look pretty. We just focus on getting the steel out the door. It’s a tough business but it keeps us going. That is all there really is to it for us.
