Bhusahn Steels Ltd., Khopoli (Maha)

Our office is tucked away in the Old Vijay Nagar Colony in Agra. It’s a bit of a distance from where the actual plants are, but this is where the administrative side of things happens for the Khopoli operations. The colony is quite old and has that lived-in feel you only get in Uttar Pradesh. Finding house number 107 isn't too hard once you get off the main road. We spend our days handling files, answering the phone, and keeping track of what’s happening in Maharashtra. It’s a lot of paperwork and computer screens. The internet goes out sometimes, and we just have to wait it out like everyone else in the neighborhood. We aren't a big flashy corporate office with glass walls. It’s more of a practical space where we can sit down and get the logistics sorted. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of records to file, but we manage. Most of the staff here have lived in Agra their whole lives. We talk about the local news and the weather while we work. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the busy markets. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing to support the steel business. It’s steady work and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it over the years. We don't have a big sign out front, just a door and some desks inside.
