Nisha Parlour

Our place is called Nisha Parlour and you can find us at Kailash Gali in the Rawat Para area of Agra. The address is 282001. Agra is a very crowded city, and Rawat Para is one of those spots where there is always something going on. Our shop is tucked away in a narrow lane called Kailash Gali. It can be a bit hard to find if you aren't from around here, but the locals know us well. We have been working in this small space for a long time. We do mostly hair and skin work for the women in the neighborhood. It’s not a corporate salon with uniforms and fancy receptionists. It is just us doing the work every day. The shop is small, so it gets a bit cramped when three or four people are waiting. We have a few old fans that keep the air moving during the hot summer months. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just have to wait it out with our customers. People come here to get ready for parties or just for their regular grooming. We hear all the local gossip and news sitting here. It’s a friendly atmosphere where nobody is in too much of a hurry. We keep our tools clean and try to do the best we can with what we have. It’s a practical way to earn a living in a busy city like Agra.
