Moon Hair Salons is situated on Shastri Puram Road in the Sikandra area of Agra. We are right there on the main Sikandra Road, so if you are driving through, it’s hard to miss us. Agra is famous for many things, but for the people living around Shastri Puram, they just need a reliable place to get their hair done. We chose the name Moon because it sounded nice and was easy for everyone to remember. The shop is a decent size, enough to have a few people waiting without it feeling too cramped. We have some pictures on the walls of different styles, but mostly people just tell us what they want or show us a photo on their phone. The traffic on Sikandra Road can be quite loud, so we usually have the door shut and a bit of music or the news playing on a small TV. We see everyone from school kids needing a trim to older men who have been coming to us for years. We don't use any high-end marketing tricks to get people in. We just try to do a decent job so they come back next month. The floors get covered in hair pretty quickly on a Saturday, but we sweep it up when we can. It’s a simple life running a shop in Agra. We open early, we work late, and we talk to our neighbors every day.
