Modern Mans Hair Beauty Salon

Jaipur House is a well-known spot in Agra, and we’ve been tucked away in the Vishvakarma Complex at shop fifteen for quite some time. The name says Modern, but we’ve actually been here long enough that some of our equipment looks a bit vintage now. It’s a men’s salon, so it’s mostly about quick haircuts and shaves. The complex itself is always humming with people going to different offices and shops. We have three chairs, but usually only two are working at once. The floor is tile and it gets covered in hair pretty fast when it’s busy, so we are constantly sweeping it up with a worn-out broom. We don’t do anything fancy like the big salons in the malls. It’s just basic grooming for guys who live nearby or work in the complex. The mirrors have some streaks that never seem to go away no matter how much we rub them with old newspapers. We have a small TV in the corner, but the signal is bad, so we mostly just listen to the radio or talk about the cricket scores. It gets hot in the afternoons because the sun hits the front of the complex, but we have a couple of wall fans that keep things moving. Most of our customers have been coming to us for ten years or more. They don't even have to tell us how they want their hair cut anymore. We just know their style.
