Jasmin Beauty Parlours

Dayal Bagh is a bit of a quieter area compared to the rest of Agra, and that is where you will find Jasmin Beauty Parlours. We are located right in the heart of Dayal Bagh, and the atmosphere around here is usually quite calm. The shop is just a basic setup for women who need a haircut or some threading done without making a big deal out of it. We open the shutters early in the morning, usually around the time the sun starts getting warm. You can see people walking to the temple or kids going to school while we set things up. Inside, we have our mirrors and some posters on the walls that have been there for a while. We don't change things much because people like knowing what to expect when they come in. It is a small place, so if three or four people come at once, it feels very full. We spend our days mostly chatting with the ladies from the neighborhood. They tell us about their kids and their homes while we work. It’s a very human way to spend the day. We aren't trying to be the biggest salon in Agra, just a reliable one for the people living right here in Dayal Bagh. There is a lot of comfort in doing the same work every day and seeing the same faces. We just try to keep things steady and peaceful.
