Ishanvi Hotels Private Limited

Being over at Plot No. 20 in Icone Greens means we see a lot of folks coming to visit the Taj. But Ishanvi Hotels Private Limited isn't some big tourist trap. We are just located in Taj Nagari Phase II, which is a bit quieter than the main road. The dust from the street gets in sometimes, so we spend a lot of time sweeping the floors. It’s just how it is in Agra. We have some regular staff who have been here since we opened. They know which rooms have the better view of the local trees. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we have a backup that usually kicks in. It’s a bit noisy when it runs. We don’t have those fancy uniforms you see in magazines. Mostly just shirts and trousers that we wash ourselves. Dealing with guests from all over is interesting, though my English isn't the best sometimes. We just try to be helpful if someone asks for directions to the monuments or a good place to eat that isn't too expensive. The neighborhood is changing fast with new buildings going up everywhere. We are just one of many, but we’ve been here long enough to know the shortcuts around Taj Ganj. It’s just work for us at the end of the day, making sure the beds are made.
