Durgesh Beauty Parlour

Durgesh Beauty Parlour is right in the middle of Main Bazar. We are near the Vidya Nagar Chauraha, which is always crowded. If you know the Sabgi Mandi in Nagala Padi, we are quite close to that. It’s a busy spot in Agra. I started this place because I live nearby and knew people needed a spot for threading and hair. The room isn't huge, but it works for us. We have the usual stuff, chairs and a few shelves for the creams and threads. It gets very noisy because of the market right outside. You can hear the vegetable sellers shouting sometimes. Vibhav Nagar is a good place to be. We have regular ladies who come every month. Some have been coming since we opened. We don’t do anything too fancy, just the basic beauty work. The lighting is okay, though I might need a new bulb soon. It's just me and another girl helping out most days. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for customers. It's a simple life. We keep the place tidy, though the dust from the street is a constant battle. Agra 282001 is where I’ve spent most of my time. Being near the chauraha means we see everyone passing by. It’s a decent little shop for the neighborhood. I usually sweep the front step every morning before the shoppers arrive. There’s a guy selling snacks right next door, which is handy when we get hungry. It’s a busy life but I enjoy seeing all the faces.
