Chaya Beauty Parlour

Chaya Beauty Parlour is located right in the middle of Atam Market in Sadar Bazaar, Agra. It's a busy area, so there is always a lot of shouting and horns honking outside. Our shop has been here for a while now. I remember when we first opened, the market looked totally different. Now, it's packed with shops and people looking for deals. Inside our parlour, things are a bit more relaxed. We do the usual things like haircuts, wax, and bridal makeup when the season comes around. It gets really crowded during wedding months, and sometimes we are working until late at night. The tea guy from next door comes by twice a day, which is nice. We don't have fancy leather chairs or expensive lighting. It’s just a practical space where you can sit down and get your grooming done without any fuss. Most people who come here live nearby or work in the other shops in Sadar Bazaar. We know most of their names. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use the hand fans, but nobody really minds much because that's just life in Agra. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many people coming in and out, there's always a bit of hair on the floor that needs sweeping. It’s a humble business, but it’s ours and we take it one day at a time.
