Chandra Pushp Palace Hotel

We run this hotel on the Bye Pass Road in Agra. The actual address is 8B/3A in the Kailash Vihar neighborhood. We are located pretty close to St Conrad’s School. Being right on the bypass means we get a lot of people who are just passing through the city or coming to Agra for a very quick visit to see the sights. It is a bit of a noisy road because of all the heavy trucks and buses that go by at all hours of the night. The hotel is a straightforward, simple building. We spend most of our time checking guests in and out, making sure the rooms are cleaned properly, and dealing with various maintenance issues like leaky taps or lights that won't turn on. It is a lot of hard work keeping everything running. The lobby isn't very big, it just has a basic counter and some chairs for people to sit on. We have a small staff of local people who have been working with us for a long time now. We don't use any of those fancy automated check-in systems you see in the big hotel chains. We mostly just use paper ledgers or a very basic computer program. Every day is a bit different depending on who comes to stay. Sometimes we have large families and other times it is just someone on a business trip.
