Chanda Beauty Parlour

Chanda Beauty Parlour is over at G-14 in Adhar Market. This is in the Trans Yamuna Colony Phase-2 part of Agra. We are quite close to Royal Public School, so we often see the parents and teachers walking past. The market gets quite lively in the afternoons when school lets out. Our shop is just one of many in the row, and we have been here at this spot for quite some time. It is a practical setup with the usual chairs and mirrors. We do not do anything fancy, just the standard things like threading, waxing, and hair cuts. Agra can get very hot, so we try to keep the shop as cool as we can for the ladies. It is a bit crowded sometimes, especially during the wedding season when everyone wants to look their bit. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. You just walk in and wait your turn on the bench. Sometimes the wait is long, and we talk about the local news or what is happening in the market. It is a very normal place. We know the shopkeepers nearby well. Being near the school makes it a very familiar spot for many families. We just keep doing our work every day without any fuss. The school kids are always running around outside, which keeps things interesting. It is just a simple shop.
