Appearance Salon

Our shop, Appearance Salon, is tucked away in Aparna Market over in Shah Ganj. If you’re coming from the Pratap Nagar Churaha, we aren't hard to find. Agra can get pretty hot and dusty, so we try to make the shop a decent place to sit for a bit while you get a haircut. It’s not a huge setup, just a regular local salon where we handle the basics. We’ve got the usual chairs and mirrors, and we try to keep the towels clean and the scissors sharp. A lot of the neighbors stop by on their way home from work. It’s nice because you get to hear the local news while you work. I’ve been working in this area for some time now and the people are generally good. We don’t have any of those big city airs about us. If you need a trim or your beard looked at, we just get to it. Sometimes the tea man comes around and we have a quick cup between clients. It’s a simple life here in the market. We stay open until fairly late most evenings because that’s when people have the time. The lights are usually bright enough to see what we're doing even when it's dark outside. You might have to wait a few minutes if it's a Saturday, but we try to move fast without rushing the job too much. It is just a small local business run by people who live here.
