About Santosh Cement Bricks – Building & Construction Material in Adilabad
Out here in Kachikanti, we run Santosh Cement Bricks. Our place is at Hno. 1-10, and you can usually see the stacks of bricks from the road. Making cement bricks is heavy work. It starts early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. We mix the cement, sand, and water, then press them into the molds. After that, they have to sit and cure. It takes a lot of water and patience. If you rush it, the bricks just crumble, and nobody wants that. My brother and I handle most of the daily stuff. We’ve got a couple of guys who help with the heavy lifting and loading the trucks. It’s a bit of a dusty business, and our clothes are always covered in grey powder, but it’s okay. We supply to people building houses nearby or maybe a small wall for their garden. We don't have a big corporate setup. It’s just us and the machines. Sometimes the mixer acts up and we have to spend half the day fixing it, which is frustrating. But when you see a house being built with bricks you made yourself, it feels like you've done something useful. We try to keep the prices steady, though the cost of cement keeps jumping around these days. It’s just a local business trying to do right by the neighbors. It is hard work but it pays the bills at the end of the month.
